ANNOUNCEMENT:
Prof. Ravi Sandhu left GMU June 1, 2007 to to take the position of Founding Executive Director of the new Institute for Cyber Security at the University of Texas, San Antonio where he holds the Lutcher Brown Endowed Chair in Cyber Security, and is a Professor of Computer Science (College of Science), Electrical and Computer Engineering (College of Engineering), and Information Systems and Technology Management (College of Business). His new website is profsandhu.com. The LIST website is frozen effective Jan 11, 2008.

The Laboratory for Information Security Technology (LIST) was founded in 1995 by Ravi Sandhu to provide a dedicated facility for high-impact research in Information and System Security.

LIST has close ties to the  Information and Software Engineering (ISE) Department and the Center for Secure Information Systems (CSIS) . Faculty and students associated with ISE and CSIS participate in the LIST activities. LIST is also available to other School of Information Technology & Engineering  faculty and students with interest in security.
